Goodbye Meat, Hello Healthy! Ellen Degeneres Goes Vegan



This may be old news, but Ellen goes vegan! I suspected it a while back when I read that she had a vegan wedding, but yes, she has made the full pledge recently on the World Vegetarian Day last month (October 2008).

Thanks to Dr. Neal Barnard of PCRM and author of Skinny Bitch, Ellen has made an informed decision to go pure vegetarian.

I didn't know that Grey's Anatamy star Sandra Oh is apparently a secret vegan as well. It's interesting to note that all of these came after Oprah's vegan experiment. Going vegan is happening everywhere!

I love Ellen. I was watching one of her comedy shows on tv....I think it was for HBO? I don't remember. But the show was HILARIOUS.

Oh yeah, I remember her old comedy show on Australian TV! I didn't watch it very much, but I did think it was funny hehe.

Yeah, I didn't know for sure if she was vegan or not. I knew that her wedding was vegan... that's pretty cool. She should've invited me. LOLOL
